This scenario is a poster version of why it is SO important for women to stay in school & get at least a high school education.
Get pregnant, quit school, have a baby—with or without a marriage—and later have to ‘take any boyfriend who will support them’ because they have absolutely no other skills.
Young women who think that welfare & ‘boyfriends’ are the answer to having a better life are totally on the wrong path.
Maybe if they could not get welfare without working at least part time, this chain of despair could get broken.

The biological father was mom's boyfriend as well and he hadn't seen his daughter in over a year.
A male lion fights for the right to mate with a female / cubs.

Guess some humans still have that instinct.
