The live-in boyfriend of Mariah Woods' mother has been arrested in connection to the disappearance of the 3-year-old - and police believe the child is dead.

At 2.30am, WCTI12.com announced that Earl Kimrey had been taken into custody and charged for concealing a death and the obstruction of justice. There is no indication as yet that Mariah's body has been found but police believe she is deceased.
The 32-year-old man was taken before a state magistrate and charged with concealing of death, Obstruction of Justice, Second Degree Burglary, Felony Larceny and Possession of Stolen Property.

Amazing turn out of people searching for this child. 700 on Friday. It’s a shame this turned out the way it did. Why people think they can fool police in such cases, I have no idea. I expect mom to be arrested next.
If you back and read the initial story...the biological father was NEVER called by the mother. He only learned about this via the alert sent out. To me, that was a massive sign that something was wrong. I would agree....the mother had to know more to this story.
Totally agree. When/if they find y=the body and arrest the mom, the whole thing will come out.
Never any doubt - from the moment I heard them say that he supposedly saw her around midnight and “told her to go back to bed”, my though was the mother was living/sleeping with the sick POS that killed her daughter.

I thought that with the “legal” precedent set in San Francisco the other day that “Female Lives Don’t Matter.”
About 10 years ago, there was an abduction of a woman in Macomb County, MI. Her husband was on TV constantly, begging and pleading for her safe return.
Long story short, they played him like a fiddle. The sheriff was pretty sure he’d buried her in a large park, so they announced a search the next day, giving him time to retrieve the body and bring it back to his house in a Rubbermaid bin.
Search warrant discovered the body. He managed to shake the tail but was caught soon after.
Oh man. That is awful, but LE did a great job.

The sheriff, who is a good guy and shameless self-promoter was great when he explained after the fact that they’d been trailing this guy 24/7 for over a month and he didn’t even get a whiff.
They lost the trail because a news truck pulled up just as they were serving the warrant and filmed him walk away. They cut the trailing because they didn’t want him to see it on the news.
