23 is WAY too young to be a teacher. There should be a minimum age of 35 for high school, 30 middle school, 25 elementary/nursery. Would solve a lot of these libido problems.

When I was in HS in the 60s many teachers were WWII vets. Fully formed experienced adults.
Today people reach 20s, 30s and even 40s with minds of middle-school children.
Really bad judgment, if it can even be called that.
If this were a male teacher, would bail be only $30,000 ??

Former student, so not currently an issue of person in authority taking advantage of those under their charge. As for the age difference. It really is not that great. If a 16 year old can legally consent to sex with an 18 year old why not a 23 year old?
I was 16 when I met my now husband who had just turned 22.

Don’t know what’s wrong with today’s young teachers but life isn’t fair. As a teenager in the late 50’s-early 60’s just about every teacher I had was either menopausal or ready to retire. Their attitude was an easy cure for raging hormones.
