John Paul II also believed mightily in Poland’s role in saving Europe, Western Civilization and Christendom in general. At the time I read the book, The Keys of this Blood, I assumed he was referring to an East-West struggle between the United States and the Soviet Union. In light of recent events I’m convinced he was referring to an Islamic invasion.

Funny coincidence, I am headed to Poland for a few weeks in the spring of 2018. I plan on visiting the crypt of St. Leonard in Wawel Cathedral in Krakow where the Pope’s visions began.
