Remember, at the beginning, this term was coined by Progressive Marxists to discredit conservative, alt-right, and alternative news sites. It backfired massively, and with Trump's use of the term virtually daily, they now want to try to limit the damage by banning the use of the term. They still think they control the narrative.

Agree with what you said. The following verse from the Bible comes to mind:

Esther Chapter 7, Verse 10: “So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.”

Yeah, I remember the libs using the term first.
Then Pres. Trump showed us the correct usage.
