Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump Want to Buy New House in Washington, DC --Refuse to Leave

President Donald Trump might not be getting rid of his eldest daughter and son-in-law anytime soon.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are reportedly looking to buy their first house in Washington, D.C., even amid reports that White House staffers want them to scram.

In a rare interview, Kusher said his wife has been asking about purchasing a home in the nation’s capital, apparently countering reports that the couple might move back to New York after drawing too much scrutiny in D.C.

“We’re here to stay. At the current moment, we’re charging forward,” Kushner told The Washington Post in a profile published Saturday.

“My wife asked me the other day if we should be looking at new houses, so that’s a good sign,” he added.

ushner and Ivanka, who both serve as presidential advisors, moved with Trump to Washington and rented a place for six months before deciding whether they will stay.

Since then, both have become enmeshed in daily White House operations — and scandals, with the latter reportedly mortifying the president.

Kushner’s role in White House duties has been steadily diminished during Trump’s first year.

Ivanka, meanwhile, has served as a Trump surrogate in public appearances and even private meetings.

The family drama might be becoming too much for Trump, as recent reports have suggested the couple’s days in Washington could be numbered.

Trump told his daughter, in front of staffers, that he was worried about her “getting killed” in the press and getting “a bad deal” in D.C. More recently, Trump was dismayed to see his daughter speaking out against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly has been shrinking Kushner’s role in the White House while discussing with Trump the possibility of the couple leaving in 2018, according to The Times.

No one voted for the Royal Family

I would contend that a very strong reason President Trump won the nomination and then the presidency is that a whole lot of US citizens across the political spectrum wanted to get rid of dynasties in politics.

It was kinda' cute when daddy's little girl could do no wrong...typical of a loving dad and grand dad. But now it's a whole new situation. President has to do his job. That involves sending the Prince and Princess back to their NYC bubble.

I hope your Thanksgiving was also blessed.

I confess I am more perplexed than amused. As a general rule, the Left is the party of hate. Conservatives, of course, hate Leftism, but we have our reasons for that.

The level of hate directed at Jvanka, however, makes no sense. If Trump had been veering left since the election, and if that could be attributed to Jvanka, then it would be understandable. As matters stand, it’s nonsensical at best.

We need leadership that looks to Jesus first for direction before making any decisions. . .anything less than that will not do. God is in control of everything including our next breath. . .He owns the universe. People who don’t understand that will always miss the mark. . .unless it is the mark of the beast. . . everyone is given a choice. I think the President and Vice-President fully understand this.

President Trump should care what we think about it. Jared and Ivanka have been at odds with the Deplorable agenda since the election was won. He won by listening to Deplorables. Why is he trying to govern by listening to Jared and Ivanka, who have shown no indication that they even care about our values and priorities? It can’t be done without our support.

If Jvanka is Left, and Trump is listening to them, shouldn’t he be doing leftist things? What leftist agenda have you seen Trump advancing?

The Washington Post works 24/7 to destroy Trump.

So, what does Jared Kushner do?

He gives WaPo an exclusive interview!

Before Jared made that completely brilliant decision, he hired two lawyers - both of them Democrats - to help defend him against Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller!

Could you put up a link to Kushner’s WaPo interview?

Thanks.

Just to clarify why I requested the link. I used two different search engines, plus the string, ‘Kushner Washington post interview,’ and came up with nothing.

After drawing that blank, I thought perhaps the best way of getting the link would be to ask the source.

When did Newsweek start reading like the National Enquirer?

This is another of those, ‘Trump is going to do something liberal in the future because of Ivanka,’ items. Trump charged the Democrats and the GOP to fix DACA. Nothing short of a radical Leftist solution will satisfy the former, while if McConnell has demonstrated anything, it’s that he’s unable to build consensus.

The two had six months to engineer the fix. Get back to me when they pass the bill.

The WH staff was a mess until Kelly came along. I'm not convinced that everyone appointed at ICE and at State appreciates the non-globalist, non-invader policy. And Ivanka's Child Day Care Credit for people who make humongous amounts of money? That's insane. As I've stated often, I wish there were more everyday Deplorables who were with President Trump from the beginning of the campaign being given positions in government.

As long as she did not go on strike I wouldn’t care what she said or did.

Btw, right after Trump threw down re DACA, he listed his own requirements re the solution. The list constitutes a poison pill for the left. But of course nothing like that slows down the hate-Jvanka crew. It’s simply assumed that Jvanka have the power, to be utilized at some future unspecified date, of forcing Trump to break his promises and betray his supporters.

They don’t.

Nothing that you listed constitutes policy except the childcare credits—and that has yet to be passed.

The WaPo interview with Kushner was published on Saturday. I read it for free, I think at MSN.com, which is my home page.

There is another link to the WaPo-Kushner interview in the fourth paragraph of the Newsweek link at the top of this thread.

Unfortunately, that link comes up with a pay wall, on my computer, anyway.

The title of this thread is almost an exact quote from Kushner, so, if you catch the pay wall, try this on Google: “Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump Want to Buy New House in Washington, DC.”

That quote is being used everywhere, so look for a Washington Post link.

Thanks for your reply.

“MSN.com ... my home page.”

This, I believe.

‘MSNBC (stylized msnbc, short for Microsoft National Broadcasting Company) is a liberal propaganda 24-hour cable “news” channel and website aligned with the Democrat party. Jointly owned by Comcast and General Electric, MSNBC is considered by many to be one of the most liberal cable news channels of all the mainstream media.’

As far as I know, Microsoft no longer owns any part of MSNBC.

Microsoft does own MSN.com.

MSN.com is a standard issue Hard Left international news web site, just like Yahoo, CNN, the BBC, etc.

I use it for my Home Page for two reasons...

First, unlike many Conservatives at Free Report, I think it’s critically important to keep a constant eye on our political opposition.

Second, MSN.com is optimized for Windows and the Microsoft Edge browser, which means I have instant and completely obvious access to various tools and links I would have to search for, or do extra work for, otherwise.

I’ve used Dell computers, Windows, and the Microsoft browser for 20 years.

Never had a problem, and have never understood why so many people hate them.

A lot of conservatives choose to give their main patronage to outlets that make some attempt at factual news coverage. We leave the support of far leftist propagandists to their natural target audience: moonbats.

Hmmm...

I just checked the Free Republic News/Activism page.

Here are some of the linked websites, from the first page:

Associated Press, Daily Beast, The Hill, You Tube, Yahoo, Hollywood Reporter, The Guardian (UK), New York Post, Los Angeles Times, CBS News, NBC News, Axios (started by Politico's founders).

Conservative moonbats never feel lonely at Free Republic.
