Charles Manson’s grandson, his only known living descendant, told The Post on Monday that he tried to visit his murderous grandfather before he died but didn’t get permission in time.
“It’s a little rough for me right now,” Jason Freeman, 41, said after news of Manson’s passing broke.

“He’s taken the weight of the world on his shoulders, and he doesn’t think it’d be in my best interest to take on his name and be involved with him,” Freeman explained at the time.

He has a son, I don’t know why they are saying this guy is the only descendant.
The son killed himself in 1993, because he couldn’t deal with who his father was.

God thats sad. I feel for the kid. Seems like someone could have got through to him that his dad was a no good lazy doper... and helped him see that he carried zero guilt.

I’m inclined to give the guy a break. By the accounts I’ve read his grandmother was a nice girl who quickly divorced Manson. He must have some demons being the grandson of a monster.
I think that I read that Manson had a baby with one of his hippie chicks. The grandparents came out from Wisconsin and took the baby away from their daughter and raised the baby in Wisconsin. I read that the kid grew up as normal adult.

Yeah. Sharon Tate never got to say hello to the fetus they stabbed through her stomach to kill. Animals like Manson should have gotten tied to wild horses and pulled apart. After much torture

I never knew he had. He was in jail more than he was out of jail. I guess all those silly young girls who thought he was the reincarnation of Jesus bore one for him.
