My god this is insane.

My mom and one of her old friends put a full court press on me to take her friend’s just turned 17 year old daughter to her Prom night when I was like 27 plus or minus because her friends daughter wanted to have a white guy take her to the Prom and we were the only white people they knew.

That was years ago and I had forgotten all about it until this lame and pathetic Moore thing came up.

I hope Roy Moore has a better memory than I do because I can’t remember much about it except the vague recollection that she was really nice and we both had a great time.

I DO remember mom telling me that if I did not give that girl at least one spectacular good night kiss that my mom and the girls mom would haunt me till the day I died

Guess that make me a child molesting pervert too.

What I haven’t heard a single word about, is that in Alabama at the time this is alleged to have occurred, a girl could get married at 13 with parental permission, and 16 without permission. I was in the Army and stationed in Alabama from 1973 to 1976, and knew several guys in their late teens and early 20’s who married 13, 14, and 15 year olds, because the parents had given permission.

My father was 32, and my mother was 16 when they married in 1936. My oldest sister wasn’t born until 1940. I was the fourth and last child born in 1947. Today they’d label my father a pedophile.
