Dr. Raymond Soneira, in his technical review of the OLED display of Apples new iPhone X says "It is the most color accurate display that we have ever measured. It is visually indistinguishable from perfect, and is very likely considerably better than any mobile display, monitor, TV or UHD TV that you have. PING!

At least someone cares about color fidelity and color reproduction.
Rec. 709 is not an easy standard to meet, and the new Rec. 2020 is adding a level of complexity above that.
I am most impressed that Apple can color calibrate the screens at the factory that will meet the specifications.
Anyone who has ever color calibrated a TV, projector or (gag!) a 3 beam projector will understand what a feat this is.
