A passenger was caught on camera stealing a handful of cash from a Uber drivers tip jar. Two children, 8, dead after car crashes through wall of school The woman, who was sharing a taxi with two friends in New York, thought the driver wouldnt realise when she slipped her hand into the box. But what she didnt know was that she was being recorded by a camera pointing directly at passengers. Footage shows the group of women chatting with each other in the back of the cab.
The woman doesnt seem to notice the tip jar until the end of the ride. As the car pulls to a stop and her friends jump out, she spots the tip jar, unknowingly looks directly at the camera and then puts her hand in the jar to grab a handful of notes. She then runs out of the car and disappears.
Uber said: You may want to initiate a formal investigation via the police. Uber will comply with any formal requests from law enforcement. It is unclear if the driver has been reunited with his money as of yet. An Uber spokesman told Metro.co.uk: This behaviour has no place on Uber and the riders access to the app has been removed.
I don’t use Uber, but why would anybody tip the driver?

Unless she is transgender, born with a Y chromosome through no fault of her own, who needs the money for hormone treatments.
Now you can tip, but you’re supposed to use the tip feature built into the app.
Looks a bit “T” as in LGBT.
I use Uber, better than cabs.
There was an unspoken rule, 5 for 5. Tip the driver 5 dollars and they will give you a 5 Star rating on the Uber App. Drivers won’t pick you up if your rating is too low.
Maybe she needed the money for clothes?
