When I was at Appomattox there was a large contingent of Colored troops reenactors and they had no problem with Confederates being there.

They won the war.

It might have been different if it was the other way around.

Do you suppose the South would have freed the slaves if they had won the war? I mean, after all to listen to today’s Confederates-in-the attic it was never about slavery.
