Is there a statute of limitations on this crime? Can he still be brought up on charges?


Assuming the assault took place in California, it would likely be six years. If the assault included on of these three elements - a weapon, multiple attackers, or serious bodily injury to the victim - it would be aggravated assault, and there would be no statute of limitation.

Strangely, Law & Order: SVU just had an episode (this season’s episode 2) where the guy got arrested after 20 years for his actions as a teacher for repeatedly raping 3 of his students. Turned out, one of the times, he forced himself with a weapon and that was the one charge they got him on.

It’s almost like someone was writing a plan for how to get Harvey. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit.
