Per Steve Wynn's staff, Paddock and girlfriend never drank alcohol (vanity)

Posted on 10/08/2017 6:51:32 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

I hesitated to post this as a vanity but I thought it was important for those of us following this case.

Steve Wynn, speaking to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday this morning, said that he had checked with all his staff (right down to masseurs and beauty shop operators) who had or might have had contact with Paddock or Marilou Danley and they reported that no one had ever seen Paddock or Marilou take a drink. Of course, this is unusual because alcohol is not only free but encouraged for gamblers at Paddock's level.

There’s the Muslim angle.

But, also, Paddock considered himself a professional gambler, and its well-known that casinos push alcohol on gamblers to make them less sharp mentally and less inhibited in their betting. If I were “working” at that video poker machine, I’d refuse alcohol during my gambling time.

It goes to state of and clarity of mind (i.e. he wasn’t incapacitated by alcohol and had the discipline to refuse it when at work).

Paddock viewed gambling as his occupation. It's not unusual to not drink at work.

Paddock would sometimes stay at the casinos for months at a time. He apparently didn’t even imbibe when he was off work (at least not at Wynn’s casinos).

ISIS has provided zero evidence that Paddock converted to Islam.

True, but with all the police and FBI agents poring over the details of the case, there is no evidence YET to dispute ISIS' claim.

ISIS has provided zero evidence that Paddock converted to Islam.

And the FBI hasn't provided any evidence that didn't.

Or much in the way of evidence at all. Instead they put up billboards around Vegas. What a disgrace.

I suspect ISIS is engaging in disinformation to encourage lone wolf attacks. The man was obviously somewhat anti-social based on neighbors’ recollections. I’m interested in his autopsy results. I wouldn’t be surprised if mental illness is found after the investigation is complete.

If he was on anti anxiety meds, he probably should not have been drinking.

The pictures that have been released of Paddock may not be accurate representations of his usual demeanor.

Someone has tried very hard to paint him as a total loser.

I think it highly likely that Paddock was making money by illicit means. That could go a long ways towards explaining his standoffishness.

I Am still not convinced he was the shooter.

Has anyone in Law Enforcement asked if there is any evidence he was connected in any way with Islam?
