This is the UK, where the class divide is wide and raw and far too many of the educated men are indeed gay.

There could be something there. I married a VERY intelligent Canadian girl who had a college level education after homeschooling through Seton. Fortunately, I am usually intellectually stimulating enough for her as long as I don't go on a bender about the U.S. primary system.

Arrogance is off the chart. There is no God in the UK (just about). There’s been such a focus on girls, feminism, and making sure “they have it all”. Which is, of course, a lie. Now they’ve stayed single, received a degree, have a job, they believe they’re “oh so important”. So I’m sure many candidates are just not good enough, and for the rest, they hear it load and clear - you’re better than they are.

I’m sure that goes a long way in not being able to find someone.

The same is happening here except that God is more prevalent in the USA, which grounds people.
