I have internet Sling TV with a Roku stick too, $20/month and added the Sports feature ($5), to watch College football. A great deal, glad I cut the cable cord.

How do you like your Sling? I was seriously looking at it. Seems fine for places in the house where you have access to an Ethernet connection, but in places where it’s impractical to wire for Internet, or with an old CRT TV, there doesn’t seem to be a solution.

When I cut the cord with my Roku, I had Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and Sling. And once I realized how many free live TV apps there were, I let Sling go also.

As far as college football goes, most of the big games are on regular free TV. Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS.

My family doesn’t miss cable at all. I might miss the DVR when it comes to sports on regular TV and all, but considering everything else can be paused, it is not that big of deal.
