Last season's Battle of the Bastards was phenomenal for a television show. I felt like I was watching something that had been made for the large screen of a theater. This episode was also just terrific. I guess these guys really know how to put together a battle scene. The look on Jamie Lanister's face as he has a dragon coming in at him from one side and Dothraki berserkers running at him from the other side.

So, is Jamie dead?

By drowning in the water? No chance he goes out like that. The could do a “Glen in the Walking Dead” move and not have him in the next episode but I doubt it. If they were going to kill him they would have burned him up. Show his gold hand melting or something like that.

One thing I’ve been thinking about. Daenery’s has an army of foreigners. Westeros largely operated as a Euro-Centric culture. She’s invited the rapists right into the continent, a continent that’s been largely homogeneous for centuries.

I’m not sure if hatred of Cersei will trump fighting alongside people who don’t fight with any sense of honor (slicing the horse’s leg).
