.....another controversial video is out there involving marine life and young men.
This time, instead of dragging a shark behind a speeding boat, this latest clip shows two young men using a gun to kill a hammerhead....

The same media that defends the dilation and extraction of human beings...the murder of babies.
Well, shades of Ernest Hemingway, who enjoyed shooting sharks with a Thompson submachine gun...
When I lived in Fla, many years ago, shooting a shark was a perfectly normal thing to do.
People used to fish for sharks off the bridges only to drag them to the shore and kill them. It was just something to do on a hot summer night.
A 1/4” nylon rope with a wire leader, small inner tube for a bobber, and a rotten chicken for bait. Great fun on Tampa’s Gandy bridge.
I though of skeet shooting flying fish but decided against it.
PETA would make me in to a criminal
Off the Anna Maria city Pier, (south side of Tampa Bay) some guy years ago caught about a 28 foot great white.
They killed it and still have a fiberglass model of it there.
This from the shark bite capital of North America
Cool, when was that?
There are large great whites. None that big. 28 foot? That is a baby megaladon.
Pretty sure the “big one” was caught at the rod and reel pier and it was a hammerhead. The Great White was caught at Longboat Pass. Both were big, neither was 28” though.
Post and defend, good for you.
Sharks are a benefit to the eco chain.
If they are dangerous to beach goers, another story along with the food table.
Killing for the thrill of anything is sick.
I hope they are prosecuted and their fishing rights are revoked along with the gun privileges.
Stupid is as stupid does.
Stupid is filming illegal acts and than making them public.
Wasn’t Hemingway a certified drunk ?
Did you ever think that the reason that so many sharks are coming to shore is because the population is driving them to new waters looking for food?
Went fishing in the Tampa bays. Visiting my parents who lived in Clearwater back in 1974. Took my kid brother. Kids on the beach would tie big baits to their lines and tie balloons to their line to get the bait way out there. To catch hammerheads was there response when asked.
I think he was better known as a writer.
I was standing (throwing lures) waist-deep in that channel on the south end of Anna Marie and my nephew (et al) witnessed a fairly large shark pass directly behind me. I didn’t even know it was there and I heard some yelling, turned around and there were several people standing on the beach pointing and yelling shark! shark! Then I saw the dorsal.
A slightly different ending would have been a great fish story from a one-legged man. I am guessing that shark wasn’t particularly hungry that afternoon...
As far as I know, there are only two organizations that can certify...DMV and AA.
So, did he collect too many DUIs or was he a friend of Bill?
.....then you saw the brown snake.
If you read carefully at my post, the brunt of my critical attitude is targeted at the media. Whatever wrong was done to the shark pales in comparison to what is done daily to babies and defended repeatedly by the media.
Sorry you were left with a different impression. I should have been more clear, I guess.
If that will reduce the number of flat landers from Florida driving the Appalachian and Allegheny mountains with their foot on the break then I’m good with that. Jk.
I don’t have any idea what you’re talking about.
