In a stunning turn of events, Hugh Freeze has resigned from Ole Miss. The move comes after the school found at least one call from the coach to an escort service on his school-issued cell phone. Athletic director Ross Bjork said the initial phone call originally was “attributed to a misdial.” But further vetting of Freeze’s phone records disclosed a “pattern of conduct” that led the school administration to confront Freeze this week. Bjork said he and school administrators spoke to Freeze Wednesday night.

I don’t know anything about this guy, but what strikes me as odd is that a guy making calls to an escort service is given the heave-ho, yet a president who gets serviced by an intern in the oval office is no big deal, it’s just about sex and that’s private. Very confusing.

There are ignorant troglodytes graduating(somehow?) institutions of higher learning, just because these 85 IQs have the physical genes bolstered by nurturing which includes 100 yard dash with a TV under their arms.
College sports should be part of a positive experience for intelligent students. A form of exercise to break the monotony of studies and an exercise in team building for future endeavors.

Maybe he should have used Bubba’s excuse that he was offering guidance and counseling to these young women.

1) Clinton WAS impeached, it wasn’t a freebie he got away with
2) It looks like a pattern of calls, not just one. Ole Miss admin hinted at it
3) Freeze was very public with his Christian beliefs and quoted scripture at times. Hypocrisy is pretty damning.
4) This might not have come to light at all if his program wasn’t rife with NCAA violations that he tried to blame on his predecessor. The predecessor sued for defamation and these calls came to light in the discovery process.

Judy, you’re from Canada, so you may not understand the context completely. This isn’t politics. This is SEC football. One is life or death important; one isn’t. Seeing as you’re from our northern neighbor, you’d be forgiven for not quite understanding which is which.
Was he calling escorts for himself or his players?
Just fire him. No need to involve his family. His fault though.
Given the fact that the NSA logs every one of them, it might explain the actions of certain lawmakers and Supreme Court Chief Justices.
