Why not keep them under supervision until it is determined that they are capable of raising the child? There are plenty of folks in the genius range who are incapable of doing so!
Let’s face it, they are up against it these two. The woman’s father is awful. I don’t know if they are really incapable of raising their children or not.
I really wish my dad was still alive. He was a very wonderful guy, he worked in child welfare in NYC back in the worst days of the 1970s, but he really did it as a real Christian. I’d love to have my dad meet with these people, he’d know and say if they had their sh*t together to be mom and dad or not.
I was speaking of parents in general. Never think, "it is a mistake and we can work this out." Start raising a fuss right away. Call a lawyer, call the media, call who ever you think that might force the case into the public eye before the state gets their story complete.
Never ever think that they have your child's best interest at heart.
Because while there are some good and decent people who work for the state, the machine it's self is, at best, amoral. And you are just so much grist for their mill.
