A line I still remember after decades is from Barefoot In The Park. It's between two characters after a night of drinking Ouzo:
Ethel: I feel like weve died and gone to heaven. . .only we had to climb up.
Paul: Struck down in the prime of life.
Ethel: It isnt exactly that I feel sick. . .just kind of numb. I cant make a fist.
Paul: You want to hear something frightening? My teeth feel soft.
That was a good play (later movie) written by Neil Simon.
Jane Fonda starred in the movie version, back when all she did was act and make fun movies. Then she got envious of people like Vanessa Redgrave an social activist who was also from a famous family of actors, and the rest is history.
