A lot of libertarians will say that they don’t care what queers do as long as they are left alone.

Well, we pay for this behavior with vast quantities of tax money.

Murder rates 20 TIMES higher than normal.
Suicide rates 20-30 TIMES higher than normal.
Domestic violence rates 20-30 TIMES higher than normal. Serious communicable disease rates 20-30 TIMES higher than normal.

I am not interested in being tolerant any longer.

Yep! And...some forms of meningitis is highly contagious and easily transmitted to the normal population.

A lot of libertarians...

I lean strongly libertarian and believe that what folks do in privacy is their concern - so long as it stays private.

But....I depart from one strain of libertarianism that believes the government has no role in public health. Given that far more people in history have died from communicable diseases than from war, I do believe that public health is an essential function of government, and that when someone spreads a deadly disease he has lost his right to privacy from government intrusion.
