BEAUMONT, Texas (KFDM) -- Detectives say three robbers ambushed a 19-year-old pregnant woman and her mother, as the women arrived at their apartment complex in Beaumont, Texas Tuesday.
Detectives are investigating the case as a capital murder.
During the robbery, Kera Teel, who was seven months pregnant, was fatally shot.
Officers responded to the scene at Sienna Apartment Homes, at 6155 Sienna Trails, after a report of gunshots shortly before 2 a.m. The complex is in north Beaumont off Concord Road.
The two women had just gotten back from Galveston, where they had gone for a doctor's visit.
Authorities are investigating another nearby robbery of a store off Highway 105 to see if it could be connected.
At this time they are looking for three men, but do not have much of a description.
Here is the full statement released later in the morning by Beaumont PD:
There are currently two online fundraisers to support the Teel family. Kera and her husband Andrew Teel also had a 1-year-old daughter in addition to the unborn child.
Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward to someone who has information in regards to the crime.
Please keep this story alive. For obvious reasons, the press isn't interested.
White Lives Matter.
I was wondering how someone gets back from the doctor at 2am? Its not illegal of course but unusual. And of course the three killers fit the description the media refuses to give, fortunately the police report is clear who to be looking for rather than “three robbers” or “three men” or three of anything else except what would better describe them.
As Ron White once said when commenting on how long it takes to execute someone...."some states are trying to do away with the death penalty,*my* state's putting in an *express lane*"
Maybe because the doctor appointment was over a hundred miles away.
Hospital in Galveston for mom. They spent the whole day there.
I'm just going to speculate that the mom uses the ER as her acute care provider and prefers Galveston because "all the nurses there know me" or something like that. I speak from experience.
Mom isn't feeling well, has her daughter take her to the hospital. After triage, admittance, treatment and release, it can be pretty late and then they have to drive back to Beaumont.
Earlier stories had the daughter going to a doctor's appointment at this late hour. Other stories have the mom as the one seeking medical need, which sounds more plausible.
I’ve gotten back that late. Went to the ER at 11pm, was discharged (wrongfully-I found out from my doc two days later that I should have been admitted, but the ER doc was one who doesn’t like infidel women. Or he’s just incompetent) around 1 am.
What the hell difference does it make what time she got back? She was assassinated by three blacks for no reason - or maybe just because she was white and you focus on the time she got home.
Folks, with the anti-theft technology in today’s vehicles, it is much harder to steal them stealthily. Therefore, the feral, who is not going to change, has resorted to much more incidences of car-jacking.
Furthermore, the feral understands and begrudgingly respects, (but does not fear), that there are more armed citizens. Because of this, you are seeing an increase in which the feral either shoots immediately or does so with the least amount of resistance.
Anyone who is surprised when a feral runs up, pulls your door open and sticks a gun in their face, is going to initially protest. That protest is the only provocation ferals need to exact some of their own brand of social justice.
Believe me, when there are survivors, they are so socially kowtowed that they will not mention any of the racial epithets heaped upon them during their ordeal...
Now in this case, since nothing was taken, it could be an initiation or just some good ol’ fashion social justice, but the assassination theory is way down the list.
Give me a break hot head. Try to control yourself. It was me who posted the other day that in times past, the local citizenry would have caught and dealt with these three “robbers” “men” “teens” in an appropriate way as to ensure they never did this again.
I was thinking about this exact scenario. If you think your victim might be armed, best to just shoot him (or her) dead before they have a chance to even process what is taking place.
This is where constant vigilance to situational awareness comes into play. The feral is going to target the person who doesn't see him coming. If he sees you looking at him, he might look somewhere else.
Trial, conviction, sentencing, then wood chipper feet-first before supper.
If anybody ever deserved killing, it would be these 3 blacks.
Lawyers will make millions on this case..and we will pay millions more feeding them..
Trail in one month and hanging one month latter..in front of there home
Then these kids might pay attention
Galveston has a big research hospital run by the University of Texas. easier to get to than Houston from Beaumont.
So I clicked on the link to see if there were any updates and I noticed one of the sidebar stories that they are remembering James Byrd Jr., 19 years after he was murdered by three white men.
Wonder if they'll be remembering Kera Teel 19 years from now?
