You met the wrong Mensans. I’ve been a member for more than 30 years and have met many wonderful people (and some colossal jerks). Mensa is one of the joys of my life.
What happens at Mensa meetings? Back in ‘88 I took some tests and the organization said they’d help me process the Mensa paperwork because I was qualified. I never followed through. Is anything accomplished? Is there structure to the meetings? Are charity efforts organized? I visualized people sitting in a circle expounding and brainstorming, but had no basis for my thoughts.
