The US and China have reached a 10-point trade deal that opens the Chinese market to US credit rating agencies and credit card companies.
Under the deal, China will also lift its ban on US beef imports and accept US shipments of liquefied natural gas.
In return, Chinese cooked chicken will be allowed into the US market and Chinese banks can enter the US market.

Look for beef prices to go through the roof now, as if they’re not high enough as it is.

Those cheap winter gas bills? A thing of the past. But hey you can get some real good deals on frozen chicken dinners.

Good Lord no. Some times I am tempted to get something like say pickles at a dollar store. It says “packed in Ontario”, which makes me suspicious as to whether or not the food itself might be from China, since it doesn’t say “MADE in Ontario”.
Thinking of mistakenly eating fish from China makes me want to vomit.

Don’t know about the US, but Canadian packing companies play this little trick where they label something like Apple Juice as “made in Canada”. That just means the juice was processed here, but the apples could very well be from anywhere.

I don’t eat pre-cooked frozen meat, except on frozen pizzas (I’m partial to Jack’s bacon cheeseburger brand). It tends to taste awful.

No No No. While living in Hong Kong for 20-months, the grocery stores frequently had to ban/remove from the shelves chinese pork, chicken and other products.
