This is our future: a fleet of drones that are managed by the harbormaster and programmed to venture out to all incoming freighters and do a scan for ionizing radiation and sniff for various nitrogens.

Any ship that messes with the drone is denied entry into the port.

I was part of the team that was testing this technology while at Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey.
