Scenes of Quebec City over Pachabel's Canon, played on water-filled wine glasses by a street musician on the boardwalk.
Infinite thanks. Corrected on the video. Very grateful. Mary
The Taco Bell Cannon
That’s funny!
My youngest daughter with near perfect pitch was singing nonsense words to the Canon when when she was three. She is 37 and it is still her favorite on her clarinet.
Quebec City is on my list of places to visit.
I LOVE that story.
Nice. Thank you!!
I fell in love with it first time I went there. The food! No where have I had food like that. And the architecture and the river and the fort and the boardwalk and the Chateau Frontenac and the Isle d’Orleans and the shrine and the waterfall and the pastries and the fresh strawberry ice cream on the boardwalk. When I had a chance to place a computer conference somewhere, I put it in Montreal. It wasn’t Quebec City, but it was close enough to get there before and after the conference. Then I got into genealogy and learned my ancestors came from there, and that an American one had been thrown out of the city when the Rev War Americans surrounded it, and he was with General Montgomery when Montgomery was killed. I haven’t been back since learning the family stuff, but I’d really love to walk the plains where that happened. GO!!!!!!
Thank you! It’s a great kindness to comment. Mary
That was so kind of you to make it a link. I screwed up in posting and then couldn’t figure out how to fix it. I do thank you so much. Mary
