Hope you enjoy. More Than This
Music *ping*
One of the best albums of the 80s...
Brian Ferry also is one of the few open conservative pop / Rock & Roll musicians.

Just put on Country Life. Amazing band. Amazing solo stuff from all of them too.
I always thought that Avalon has been one of the most successful songs of all time at getting..
well, never mind
Great band doing some great music.

Love their sound but favor other tunes. Out of the Blue. Virginia Plain. All I want is you.
To say nothing of the cover art :)
Great song and great group!
When I think of Roxy Music, Brian Ferry comes to mind, and no one else. This is probably because he was the lead singer and featured persona. I have zero idea who the other guys were or what they did. I presume some of them if not all were musicians. Style and sophistication was part of their brand.
I don’t know of any present performers who equal them.

Great recording!
Cool!
Another 80’s band that had some GREAT tunes.
Phil Manzanera - Lead Guitar, Andy Mackay - Sax, Eddie Jobson - Violin, John Wetton - Bass, Brian Peter George St John le Babtiste de la Salle Eno - Synthisizers & a host of others in later years.
He may be conservative, they are from Birmingham but the song seems to reflect on the way a lot of native Brits feel; it certainly seems doubting on religion and Christianity.
If one finds the original video for that song, the made for tv video, it shows him near a cross in parts.
