Oldie but a goody.
I like the old Volkswagen ad that had a picture of a VW Beetle floating in water. The text read “If Ted Kennedy drove a Volkswagen he would have become president.”

My all time favorite.
As the story goes, this was a mock up ad from an agency that was trying to get VW’s business. It was never broadcast and for some strange reason, they didn’t get the contract.
