I postulate that the steak and bacon eater sies but one death, while the granola crunching vegetable smothie drinker dies a thousand times.
They say you could increase your lifespan by 20 years if you stop eating bacon.
But those would be 20 years without the wonderful taste of bacon.
We switched to turkey bacon. Not as good but healthier. I still love regular bacon occasionally though.

I have been blessed to live in a neighborhood that has had butcher shops within a few blocks of my house for several decades now so I never run out of double smoked bacon. Some people eat it all burnt and krispy, not me, I love bacon, sashimi style, right from the slicer. It hasn’t killed me yet.
