I mean the bicyclist, they need to look as the come up to the stop sign to see if it’s clear. The California Roll Through is safe for those paying attention.

Problem is, these bikes act like they have the right of way at all times. Like the rules of the road don’t apply to them. Like they are the only ones on the road. Yes professional they are obnoxious. I have seen video after video of them making mistakes that could have and probably should have cost them their lives. Then they want to turn around and jump on the car drivers and blame them.

Will give you a for instance. Saw a car pull out in front of a bicyclist. Did the driver see the man, don’t know? He did it happens everyday to cars get over it. Does the bicyclist slow down so that he is at least so many feet behind the car should the car have to stop? No he keeps going at same speed and “tailgates” car for about 1/4 mile. Well you guessed it the car had to slam on his brakes and the bicyclist had to run over in a ditch to keep from hitting the car. So now that is the car’s fault? NO that is the bicyclist fault for not slowing down just as it would have been a car’s fault for not slowing down. If this person on a bike does not have enough sense to keep behind a moving car so many feet just like a car does/should then he and others like him has/have no business riding a bike

I agree. When I ride my bike, I roll through stop signs. I also understand that ultimately safety is my responsibility, not car drivers who may not see me.
