every libtard is jumping on that bandwagon. I got this email today-
Meetup has always served as an organizing platform for a wide range of political views, welcoming everyone from the Howard Deaniacs to the Tea Party. Meetup will always welcome people with different beliefs.
But after the recent executive order aimed to block people on the
basis of nationality and religion, a line was crossed. At a time when core democratic ideals feel under attack, we feel a duty to spark more civic participation.
Last week, we created 1,000+ #Resist Meetup Groups to act as local hubs for actions on behalf of democracy, equality, human rights, social justice, and sustainability. Already 50,000+ people have joined.
These #Resist Meetups are open to anyone who want to create a bright future that’s rich with opportunity and freedom for all.
Meetup exists to connect people so they create opportunity and make the world they want. We hope members take these Meetups forward to be powerful together.

Find a #Resist Meetup nearby I also got one of those e-mails. I deleted it. Of course, living in New York, Looney Liberal city, all the Meetup groups are made up of these people, so these ads & e-mails are superfluous.

A much better idea would be for Freepers and others to send post cards to Schumer, Warren, and/or Franken saying “I will send at least $25 to your opponent in the primary and, if necessary, the general election. So, Resist That!”

Roger that. All of this was supposed to have been settled back on November the 8th. The election was supposed to have drawn to a close, with a new president and new administration, settling in to govern and life goes on - apparently not. The election drama is still rolling on and the perpetual bitching and chaos is wearing on people. There's a lot of dynamics in play that haven't been seen before or if they have, it's been a long time since re-appearing. We're in uncharted waters in a number of ways. Not sure how this is all gonna play out.

I agree. Send cards to THOSE guys. If you send a postcard to the WH, it will get lumped in with the rest and make it look like they received more of those stupid #resist cards than they actually did.

As you can see, Free Republic Activism is not the site to organize any kind of activist efforts. Your idea is right. I also had an idea to organize a “Got Your Back” effort where FReepers would all tweet the president every Thursday at noon to send a unified message that there are people who stand with Donald Trump but I would never try to make any effort like that on this site. Never again.
