Super Bowl LI on Sunday night was as close to a politics-free experience as a football fan could have hoped for, with even halftime performer Lady Gaga eschewing political talk in favor of high-energy showmanship but several big-name brands couldnt help but include overt political messaging in their Big Game advertising.

Same here.
Coca-Cola and their usual garbage with trying to paint America into some image of Somalia or Bangladesh.
Scary thing is the ratings are out..fox business just said RECORD BREAKING 71%!!!! HOLY MOLY!!! Just in USA! Let’s see if the commercials have any impact good or bad! Lots of companies to boycott!!
Audi: Women get paid less, so they should buy an Audi. Cheap cars for cheap women??
The whole thing was more like the virtue-signalling olympics than the Super Bowl.
we were cooking during commercials and not really paying attention - did catch the bad hair - had NEVER heard of THAT company before.
We prayed the rosary during half-time and totally missed that production.
However, there's a chain of MRI facilities in Eastern Massachusetts that run ads on the local Boston TV and did so during the game on the local Fox station. These ads feature Tom Brady going for an MRI and checking his four SB rings with the nurse before going into the machine.During the post game show they showed another of the ads.But this time Brady hands her 4 rings...pauses...and then says "oh,there's one more".
A classic moment of local Boston TV history *and* sports history.
I didn’t start watching until 5:07 left in the game. During the commercials I toggled to last weeks Blue Bloods I’d recorded. Back and forth. Didn’t miss a thing.
I personally think that KIA hit the best one. Not only was it funny but my perception is it took a comedic slap at the enviro-wackos. The funniest was saving the whales.
“Cheap” Audis start at about $35k, and mostly well up from there.
I remember when Audi’s ad campaigns focused on billing their cars as Driver’s Cars and emphasized their rally performance.
My wife commented during the ad, "No one in it looks like me!"
They missed the ad for the “Google Home” device (basically a ripoff of the Amazon Echo.) In the beginning of the commercial, a woman is driving home, passing a number of houses along the way. One house has a large rainbow flag hanging from the front porch. This had absolutely nothing to do with the product, but I guess Google felt they had to feature it in their ad anyway.
My favorite was the Hyundai ad:

A Better Super Bowl | NFL Hyundai Super Bowl LI

Millions of people watched Super Bowl LI. But without our troops, this day wouldnt be possible. This year, Hyundai made their Super Bowl better. They couldnt come home, so we brought home to them. Watching the Super Bowl is amazing, but watching it with the ones you love is better.
Audis are clunkers. Any rally in them is with aftermarket parts.
I wasn’t going to watch the superbowl. We were just going to watch the beginning, because there was nothing else to watch, but we watched through the halftime show, because my wife wanted to see Lady Gaga floating down, and we missed that part. Then we switched to Mercy Street, and Victoria on (choke gag) PBS after the halftime show, and it looked like Atlanta had the game well in hand. If anyone appeared to have the jitters, it was the presumably veteran Patriots.
I turned it on before going to bed and the score was tied, so I left it on and saw the final play.
I found myself rooting for the Patriots because they were at odds with the NFL, and because Messrs. Brady, Kraft, and Belichick admit to being friends of our President, while the NFL has tolerated all that taking a knee rot.
Let me see if I got this right: The founder of Anhauser-Busch came here as a refugee and spent his life on welfare. So when did he start a beer company?
According to Audi, in Germany as in the U.S., women didn’t make the same wage, as average, as men. Possibly, this was because women in Germany, like women in the U.S., didn’t work the night shift, work outdoors, and work more dangerous jobs as frequently as men. Nor did they work as many hours and as consistently through their life as mane. And, didn’t work jobs with the same stress as men.
Instead, may be, I’m just guessing here, women in Germany as in the U.S. had the primary responsibility in families for having and raising children.
And, because liberals disrespect motherhood and want to abort as many children as possible, this means women weren’t equal to men.
With regard to illegal aliens, it seems that Lumber 84 tells them if at first you can’t get into this country, try, try again.
I wonder who they hire at Lumber 84?
