George Carlin - Political Correctness is fascism pretending to be Manners https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkhUivqzWv0
George got incredibly bitter toward the end of his life, but he could still nail it when he wanted to. This is one of those.

His last couple of TV specials showed a rapid decline in his comedic ability. He denounced school dress codes, saying, “The last time I heard that suggested, it was in German.” It was really sad hearing the great George Carlin repeat something I’d seen years before on bumper stickers. His bitter rant about children recording the family voice mail message, and some bizarre sidetrack into picking and eating your own skin, were no better. I guess it’s like when a great musician makes one album too many.
Not impressed.
Lots of talk about poor language.
No talk about cultural Marxism.
Slam dunk. That is exactly what it is.
Excellent. We need him now more than ever.

My personal preference:
“Political correctness is tyranny with manners” - Charlton Heston
I’ve had liberals tell me we have to censor our word choice for the feelings of various groups. This tirade has been a good criticism.
It cuts through when trying to argue how altering word choices doesn’t help blacks get jobs or the disabled get healed doesn’t work.
His wife died, and his lifestyle choices were catching up to him in the last few years. That Lent itself to his bitterness toward the end. When he was hot he was an absolute scream.

Exactly. it’s “nice” fascism.
Well there’s 8 words you can’t say on tv.
TCM ran ‘Blazing Saddles’ the other night.

Richard Pryor co-wrote that hilarious mess. He was supposed to be the sheriff but according to Gene Wilder he could not because of his addiction?
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
