I don’t think you’re overstating anything. My expectation was a widespread hit civil war if Hillary won. My assumption is civil war if President Trump fails to restore government within its proper limits and to deport illegals. While we have the work ethic, the training, and the guns that would matter in a civil war, I prefer to settle the question of whether we will be slaves, again, without killing many hundreds of thousands of Americans.

If the Left had put Mrs Bill over it there would have been a very short order purge throughout the government of “unreliables” and the complete centralization and takeover would have commenced. Chances are that Mrs Bill would have found out she was no more than a figurehead and eventual fall guy when it comes time for the show trials. If they topple Trump their immediate success depends on how much Trump has accomplished to that point. If he has managed to clean up the military and most of the agencies then the coup will not be an instant win for the Left and anything up to a shooting war could ensue. If the military stays out of it could be quite messy but the left would lose. The right would likely not win, a return to Constitutional government is probably not in the cards, but would prevail.

In any fight, the side that loudly, proudly and consistently not only proclaims that it is absolutely unwilling to shed blood to defend and protect what is of value, but also proclaims that anyone doing so is just as bad as the howling savages it is saying it is defending against, soon becomes the wholly owned property of the other side that is willing to shed blood to take what it wants.

Read about the political buildup to our Civil War. Fist fights in the halls of congress, duels, civil unrest, in other words, all that we are seeing today albeit with different opposing agendas. My point is the Civil War began long before that shot was fired on Ft Sumter.
