This baby elephant did not take naturally to the water when she went for a dip in a Thai swimming pool.
The calf took a tentative splash in a pool at a veterinary clinic on Thursday as part of a lengthy rehabilitation process to heal her injured foot.
Baby Fah Jam was three months old when her front left leg was caught in a trap set by villagers in Chanthaburi province, 155 miles southeast of the capital, Bangkok.

Very sweet. It’s the wealth created by free market capitalism that makes this sort of thing possible. Aquatic therapy for animals doesn’t happen otherwise. The PETA types are deaf to the irony that their preferred economic system can’t support this kind of expensive kindness to animals.

She seems to show a lot of affection for her handlers, or at least I presume this is an elephant’s form of affection, by wrapping her trunk around her handlers.
Was that the injured one at the very end,walking with the adult elephant?
