I’m not unaware of Katie Couric’s dubious past as an honest broker of the news. What I’m say is (1) she’s not stupid, (2) she has a good personality and (3) she’s not compromised by having trying to throw the election during the campaign. If she figures it out she can decide to be an objective reporter. It would be a real improvement for what passes for news on network TV.
