Jerry Lewis at his wonderful best.
He had absolute disdain for these people. And the interviewer SUCKED! Didn’t know how to ask ‘open ended questions’. Just ones that required ‘yes or no’. Lewis trolled them big time.
They made him grumpy before they started. The interviewer sounds like a kid, not much experience.
The millennials who are coming into journalism nowadays are beyond pathetic.
Yep.
Nothing difficult about having it stuck to you by a pro ... Awright .. clean it out’a here.
‘Yes’ or ‘No’ questions? Wait.. The golden rule of Journalism is to ask thought-provoking questions that start with Why, What, How.. ‘Do’ or When or Where are no, no’s.
I'm gettin' too close to 80 yrs of age myself. Still in business too. Doing well. Sometimes young people can ask the most annoying questions. I speak from experience.
ouch!
Too bad they didn’t have a camera on the interviewer to watch him turn beet red from embarrassment.
The interviewer was pathetic and Lewis quickly got his number. I viewed a few minutes of it and quit; not because of Lewis but because I could not take the interviewer.
I must be missing something. Did he agree to do the interview?
Whatever the hell they did they pissed him off beforehand and should have closed it out quicker rather than go through the awkward motions.
Later
I watched this and what is painfully awkward is the interviewer who takes no steps to establish the right atmosphere and whos questions are inept (i.e., a series of questions which can be answered with a simple yes or no, which is what Lewis does.
