I love how some FReepers like to throw out accusations against ‘all’ so they can claim no personal responsibility for their words. Lack of personal responsibility for one’s actions seems to be a theme here. LOL
I’m reminded of the incident in the “Godfather” where the undertaker comes to Don Corleone for justice. The scum who hurt that guy’s daughter were given a lesson in justice they would never, ever, forget. That is what I would wish upon the guy who hit that girl.
Perhaps our posts are getting crossed, but the fact is an azzhole on this thread insinuated that if you don’t think in lockstep with his views then perhaps we are abusers of women...If you really are as above the fray as you are trying to appear, call him out on that wussy move and stop trying to pick a fight with someone who sees the situation as being a fail on BOTH sides.
IOWs you're now claiming that wasn't made as a serious argument in regard to the story it was just a swipe back at someone who was irritating you. That's why I asked whether you stand behind any statement you've made. Apparently not.
If this girl had been raised properly, she would not have pursued, verbally abused then assaulted a larger man....Many men would walk away, some do not, she met one who did not and paid the price for her drunken, abusive stupidity....neither of the idiots involved in this tragic incident are more deserving of punishment than the other, they are both pieces of excrement.
The gender thing was a joke, the fact that many people (not just on this board) are upset because of the races involved is a fact not an opinion.
You seem to think that logic holds so my counter-analogy using the same logic holds as well.

Ok, in keeping with the subject of the thread: A violent, drunken,girl pursues then twice assaults a larger man/boy who chooses to hit her in return....that’s it, that’s the whole shebang....Some men would walk away, some do not, some people raise their daughters/sons properly, some do not....this is a perfect storm of two zhitty people coming together, no good guy, no bad guy (and please don’t try and make any silly analogies that aren’t even remotely in the ballpark).
It’s not *that* he hit her - no reason for that, either, but that’s another debate - it’s HOW HARD he hit her.

I’m quite good at that when people are insulting or condescending or hell, in some casese borderline libelous (really, intimating that someone is abusive without any evidence) towards people who have a different opinion...I react strangely to that sort of Jihadist behaviour...(see, I did it again).
