If you're looking to chill out and watch a movie that will "stick with you" for months then I recommend "Even Horizon". This movie is by far one of the best Sci-Fi movies of it's time, though overlooked. I am posting the preview but if you're like me you should stop after the first 15 seconds so you go into the film not knowing anything about it. One thing I will tell however is that this film is deeply unsettling with a palpable sense of doom, and it's scary because of what it doesn't show you.

I know, see my 2nd post
I liked “Event Horizon”, but as more of a horror sic-fi it seems more Haloweenish than Thanksgiving Dayish.

I hate that film. Gives me the creeps. And for thanksgiving? Why not just suggest Texas Chainsaw Massacre? How about something more uplifting?

Here’s “Hacksaw Ridge”, in theaters now...

How about,March of the Wooden Soldiers..... Now that is a Thanksgiving Day classic!

Me too. I just like Sam Neill in it. I doubt anyone would want to do hyperspace travel if they watch the movie s/
My favorite Thanksgiving movie is No Country For Old Men.
The heartwarming story of a boy searching for his family.
No, that is one of my favorite movies of all times, we watch it at Christmas every year ...
I don’t think I’ve seen it.
Is it 5 yo appropriate?
Should a five year old watch it? Definitely not ...
I will be watching March of the Wooden Soldiers tomorrow morning!
“schmaltzy” - that was one of my dad’s favorite words. Haven’t heard that since he passed ten years ago.
Great feel good movie. My commie father in law hates it - along with dogs, pizza and Ronald Reagan. We don’t hang out that much.
Creeps? I found it unwatchable. Bad movie, bad acting, bad script, bad basic science, horrible science fiction, Algor must have made money off of it - upfront.
