I write this knowing full well I will probably be scorned as a concern troll, but there are facts we must face head on to avoid this election victory being a short lived victory and in 2020 seeing a President Cory Booker, Julian Castro or Elizabeth Warren.
We dodged a huge bullet for sure. But a swing of a few thousand votes in 5 states, Hillary Clinton would have been President.
Keep these things in mind:
1) While Donald Trump broke the supposedly "blue wall" by winning MI, WI and PA, Corrupt and Crooked Hillary Clinton was still the choice of about 600,000 more people nationwide than him, and simply just because she was a Democrat. She achieved this with an estimated 6,000,000 registered Democrats to have stayed home. In the last 7 elections (since 1992) the Republican candidate has only won the popular vote once (2004). The national electorate is still majority Democrat. This election the turnout is believed to be +3 Democrat.
2) In the 2020 election, and estimated 5,000,000 more millineals (now currently ages 14-17) will be in the election force. We can count on at least 80% of them being Democrats as they will be influenced by public education, liberal colleges, social media, the celebrity and hip-hop culture. With that another 3,000,000 current senior are estimated pass on before the 2020 election. So the 2020 electorate will be significantly heavier Democrat.
4) Trump will assume office as won of the most dispised figures to ever assume office. Polls showed on election he was viewed unfavorably by 65% of Americans. Hillars was viewed unfavorably by 54%. How much will those unfavorable numbers affect congress and lead them to stonewall his agenda.
3) Trump, no matter how much he achieves to make America Great Again, will never be popular. Social Media, the Mainstream Media and the Celebrity Culture so embraced by millineals will keep the President under constant attack and will prevent most Americans from seeing any of successes. These outlets will be doubling down their efforts now as well.
4) Godlessness is continuing to grow among the electorate. This year had the highest number of Athiests and non Christian based religions participating (28%). While the other 72% that professed to having Christian beliefs, it is a record low. Plus only 47% of the electorate professed to being practicing Christians. This again bodes very well for the Godless Democrat party as a more and more in the electorate are put off by "holy rollers" like Mike Pence. This nation has embraced Godlessness and sin for a long time. Homosexuality and Gender Confusion are praised and celebrated. Abortion is celebrated. Sexual promiscuity is celebrated Most of young people are consumed with Idolatry (look how many likes Jay Z or Beyonce have on Facebook compared to Franklin Graham). People will continue to allign with the Godless Part in massive numbers.
5) Barack 0bama is leaving office more popular than ever. Hos approval ratings are nearing the 60% mark and in one poll a majority (54%) would have preferred a third term over either Trump or Hillary.
So that being said, we have to understand what we are still up against. The odds a re still against us. What we can do to change this? My only answer is to call upon Almighty God. We must pray each an everyday for God to lead this nation to a massive Spiritual revival. Without one, the end will come fast for us in the good old USA. We also must pray for God to continue to expose the wicked agenda of the left (thank God for Wikileaks and Project Veritas) so hopefully more people understand their wickedness and destructive ways.
I don't believe for one second Donald Trump won this election on his own merit. His election was the direct intervention of our Creator. Without Gods help, Hillary would have won in a landslide. But in His mercy and grace God decided to spare this nation for at least another 4 years. To try and give the people of this wicked nation another chance to turn to Him.
Lets pray continuously that all trends going against us change and more and more of uor countrymen return to the Lord or give their lives to Him for the first time.
Gods promise is to prosper any nation that will turn their heats to him.

Its been a 2 year election. Let’s relax until the inauguration at least before we start running the numbers on our “probable” 2020 loss, ok?

If Trump has a successful first term and America is made great again, then millions of young people will gravitate to the Republican Party. We will see a demographic change.
It is a fallacy to assume that all young people are destined to be Democrat.

If anyone was awake and listening after the GW Bush election this anti-Trump movement should not be a surprise. 911- the bombing of the world trade center and more is the only thing that dimmed the anti_bush chorus. Unfortunately, Bush was too much a new world order guy to stand up for his fellow republicans and got toasted for 8 years. 8 long years of not fighting back and supporting his voters. That set the table for the obamanation. Damn those Bushies.

Trump won in the face of the greatest imaginable odds.
He will get things done - if he removes the albatross of Obamacare and regulations hand-cuffing economic growth, that’s 90% of the job done.
That’s about realistic as he can get in the first two years.
And Congress for its own self-interested reasons will go along with him on. The GOP establishment also knows if they make him successful, they, too will be successful.
Public opinion will then turn around.

You are exactly right. Things can go terribly wrong & this is the time to act to make sure future elections are protected. An Article V Convention is still necessary to start unraveling our feral gov’t. And how about an Article specifying Federal elections must be in person with state or federal issued ID only. No more mail-ballot fraud or illegal alien voter fraud.
There are two years with Republican control - House, Senate & Presidency. We need to make the most of them.
