This is Obama & Company making a deal with Trump and the American people.
It’s now clear to them that Hillary won’t win the election, and that all of her emails are going to be dumped onto the internet. The information forthcoming will implicate several levels of government. She won’t be in a position to protect them from prosecution. Literally hundreds of corrupt government officials could wind up in Leavenworth, once Trump takes over.
The corruptocrats are betting that, if they give up the heads of Bill and Hillary, and several of their top aides, it will satisfy the people’s blood lust. It’s a gamble, as Trump could decide to dig into every dark corner of that hive of villainy anyway.
But it’s all they’ve got left. This is literally a Hail Mary pass in the last ten seconds of the game.

I didn’t know preemptive pardons existed. Do they need to be public at least, or is that like the secret cardinal thing.

If he withheld previously undisclosed emails he will do time.
This is probably something bigger than we know about. Might require too many preemptive pardons. I don’t think this would have been reopened with a letter to congress unless something huge or many big things in there.
Gerald Ford gave Richard Nixon a pre-emptive pardon. He was pardoned “in advance” for any crimes for which he would be charged.
I’m sure some of these Clinton crony’s are thinking right now if they should put on their running shoes and try and beat the other guy to get in line for immunity.

Yes, of course. This is way above my pay grade, we know very little about the new information, and so anything at this point is pure speculation. Considering the actors involved, it can’t be anything noble or virtuous.

Well, Assange is saying that his next e-mail drop will be enough to get her arrested. When he first said that - this all was not happening. Now it is - anything is now possible.
