Hmmm, that brings back memories. I loved rowing in college, but to be honest, if you are rowing your all, that last 500 meters on the water you think you are going to die. The trick is ignoring it and saying it is all in your mind.
As a long-time fitness fanatic, I know this is a fact.
Because I work out everyday (lift and row), I have become addicted to the pain.
My 2 teenagers are on a rowing team and it can be brutal. During their erg workouts, my daughter has been known to scream during the last few hundred meters. This weekend they’re in a 5K regatta.
