I agree his ideas for making America great again are the winning ticket. I don't know that he can withstand the personal attacks when they are true and supported by evidence.

I don't agree that it is a losing argument. Look at Edwin Edwards vs. David Duke in a gubernatorial race in Louisiana some years ago. Edwards' supporters' slogan was, vote for the crook, not the racist. Any election involves the lesser of two evils. Even Reagan was not perfect, but he at least defeated the Soviet Union without firing a shot.

Sometimes the good is the enemy of the perfect.
