I'm a Giant's fan so I hope this is their year (they've won every even year since 2010).
Cubbies look strong: #1 offense (based on runs for) and #3 defense (based on runs against).
Interestingly, among the top six hitting teams, Colorado, St. Louis, and Seattle didn't make into the playoffs while all top eight pitching/defense teams made it in except for Miami. Looks once again like strong pitching carried the regulator season.

I’m picking the Giants to beat the Cubs.
San Francisco’s problems always seem to go away once the playoffs start.

The post season is a whole new season. Numbers from the regular season rarely hold any credence in post season play.
IOW...past performance is not an indicator of future success. But, on the whole, the picks look purdy good. I'm a Red Sox fan but would love to see the Cubbies win it all.

No that’s if the Rangers win the World Series.

At least the Cubs have won a World Series. Can’t say that for the Rangers’ organization.
And after Game Six, I’m convinced the Rangers are even more cursed.

Steve needs to be sick that day. If he isn’t sick, someone needs to make him be sick.

Love baseball. I’d like the Giants to win. Two fun teams in WS against each other would be Cleveland/Chicago.

The Cubbies being the Cubbies, I’m sending all my Chicago relatives pictures of the 2015 MLB Championship trophy taken at its resting place at Kauffman Stadium. I still think that’s the closest they will ever get to seeing one.

Match up is key in post season games.
I hope to see Cubs vs. Red Sox in the WS this year. (I have my favorite but won’t tell now.)
The sports writers will have a field day for that fantasy dream come true.....
