I understand Milo is a big proponent of free speech, and that’s great. However, just because someone has the right to be offensive, being offensive in the public sphere is...well...not nice. That F-bomb riddled rap opening for one of his recent Dangerous Faggot Tour speeches was pretty disgusting and added absolutely nothing to the free speech cause.
Think of it this way. Just because someone has a right to fart in a crowded bus, it doesn’t mean it’s nice to to let ‘er rip on your fellow travelers. There’s a difference between private and public activities. There’s also a major difference between government imposed limits on free speech and privately imposed ones out of kindness and respect for others.
Don’t start with fans of Milo. They’re like the early fans of Glenn Beck. They’ll eat you alive. I no longer have arms thanks to them and am typing this with my chin...
