I hope it also allows one to select my own music choices. Removing the “clear up next function” has ruined the convenience of on the fly playlists. Let ME decide what I want to listen to..
Exactly why I don’t rush to install .00 releases of any software. This list looks pretty innocuous. Sometimes the list isn’t.
Have any FReepers loaded iOS 10 on an iPhone 5C, and if so how was your experience?
Yes, I installed it on day 1 with no problems. I had to update iTunes first. The whole operation took two hours and everything went smoothly. I have been running it since and have encountered no problems or slowness. It’s great!
Yay, one of my apps is functional again, after the last update, I'd get a splashscreen and then it would close, seems to be okay now.

Good idea with any OS, I do it with Windows especially. Give it a few days first and see if there’s any blowback.
With Windows, I would typically wait until the first Service Pack was out to upgrade to the next full number release.

I don’t even mean upgrades, I include the weekly updates in that. There are the individual “gotta do it now” updates, for them I make an exception. (I’m sticking with Win7, by the way).
What I like about Linux is that when you get the regular updates it also updates your programs. In Windows you have to do that separately.
“...prevent controls from not working”
OK, I’ll need to think about that one for a while. Is this a plus or a minus?
The iTunes UI has become so awful I gave up. It is all focused on paying Apple for their streaming service, not on playing your own music library. The controls to play your own music on an iPhone are microscopic and almost impossible to use while driving. I switched to “Picky” with a few minor annoyances.
Thanks!
After much frustration with iTunes I installed Google Play. My life is much easier now. Of course, I now have gigabytes of songs both in the iCloud and Google Cloud. lol
Ever since the Windoze days with WinAmp (IMO the BEST player ever), Apple could never get their shit together re: music players. Google Play is excellent, Google got something right for a change...
