Wow. Wouldn't let me post a comment.

It’s this and the other story about a Hillary replacement that make this more than what they would like you to think. I bet the Hillary people are demanding no more discussion about this.

Freedom of Speech isn’t for the Deplorables, ya think?
To: MeneMeneTekelUpharsin
I’ve noticed a lot of papers and other news outlets have eliminated comments altogether. I read that a study showed that the comments section was more influential than people thought, and because comments on certain stories brought a lot of comments, they have moved to eliminate that source of opposition to their agenda.

No freedom of speech with the Austin American-Statesman. Now it this was about Donald Trump there would not be a problem.

About time Gannett went AR on sites quoting them, somebody had posted a reference to a "letter to the editor" purporting to be local to that Gannett rag, I notice basically the same letter in my own local Gannett rag with a local address.
I think they were salting their editorial "responses" all across the chain at the same time, and people were catching on.
I'm not surprised *everybody* is trying to control the information flow that isn't what they want to hear.

The are panicking that’s why.
