You might want to rethink that statement.

I find it in extremely poor taste to attach the horror of 9/11 and the murder of 3000 people to a sales display. It is no different than the displays we see during the Super Bowl, World Series or other “ big game” events.

The banner is fine. I would have no issue with the banner hanging in front of the store. Attaching it to a sales display in hopes people will buy a product is repugnant.

Next year will we see 9/11 Blowout Sales just as we do on President's Day?

9/11. My outrage has never lessened.

I joined FR in the aftermath of 9/11 because of the genuine shock and outrage and hurt expressed by members here. It seems we’ve come full circle in which people now just see 9/11 as another lousy day in America and, hey, if you can sell something, why not?

And I’m not a muslim or a democrat.

This is precisely the kind of salacious attitude that is used to denigrate Jews, merchants, and car salesmen. How repugnant.
