Chicago PD sinking into total grovel mode!!!

While I can't speak the nuances of the situation or the dept's exact policies on deadly force, the fact that the guy rammed 2 police cars and was endangering lives certainly should suggest it is the officers who deserve the benefit of any doubt. But nowadays the vile BLM activists are succeeding in changing the landscape, so that it is always the police who are at fault.

Well, I will say that if they don't want to get shot by the police, don't fight with the police and that includes the use of weapons against the police. Don't run from the police. I was going to add, don't commit crimes, but committing crimes is in their DNA.

As for myself, I have lived for 75 years. I attribute that in part to obeying the law for the most part. When confronted by the police for breaking said law by speeding, running a stop sign, ect, I am courteous to the officer and for the most part, they return the favor. I obey the officer's instructions. I do not attempt to flee, resist , or use a weapon on said officer. And for me, that philosophy has worked throughout the years.

Department officials acknowledged that O'Neal was unarmed. On Saturday, the Cook County medical examiner's office said an autopsy determined he had been shot in the back.

If these facts are correct, being unarmed and shot in the back seems to justify the chief of Police action...

The perp was obvious a threat while driving...

Was the LEO life in danger when he chased the perp behind a residence running on foot...?
