Did you see Trump’s just-completed free-wheeling press conference. Unbelievable and Brilliant.

Here’s how the NYT characterized it:

Well bless their dark hearts...they are really trying, aren't they? Let's ask a question; since Hillary's correspondence was done outside of the government communications and security system, was it really entitled to any officially protected status?

I'd say "No," it was fair game for interception. I think the FSB and GRU would agree with me.
